Our goal is to teach you the fundamentals of firearm safety in a welcoming environment. We cover legal aspects of carrying a firearm and basic safety and handling techniques. Whether your have never held a firearm or are an experienced shooter, we will prepare you to confidently carry your Concealed Permit license.

​Had my cpl training class. I am fairly familiar with firearms and the laws concerning them in Michigan, but today was an amazing experience. Our instructor was Ian Murphy and he is extremely well versed in self defense situations and what you have to do to defend your self. He made the Class go by really fast and seamless. This class is worth more then double the cost. I consider myself a intermediate shooter and left this class with so much more knowledge then when entering. My instructor even suggested changes to my grip and stance that has improved my ability to be more consistent shot after shot. Best part of all is he really spent time on the most important part of the class and that's the legality of using deadly force. Wish I could give them a 10 star rating because I don't think you can find a better CPL class out there. Very informative class, Ian was patient and willing to answer any and all questions that came up. Range was very well kept and the staff there were very professional in all aspects. Instructor was detailed at the range stressing safety while eliminating any anxiety for beginner shooters. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get CPL.. -Lawrence

Excellent CPL class, instructors are top-notch. My class was a mix of novice/inexperienced and proficient students with firearms - and they handled it perfectly. Those that had more questions or needed more time were absolutely given it, and made to felt welcome. I'd recommend them, even if you've never touched a gun in your life. -Ren
​I attended this course on 7/23/21 and it was absolutely fantastic. I didn’t know what to expect going into it, but both Scott and Ian were extremely friendly with a good sense of humor. That said, the class remained very professional and I got a lot of useful information out of it, regarding both the handling of firearms and the applicable legal information for CPL holders. Food and drinks were provided, as well as frequent breaks. All of the questions asked by myself and others were answered with certainty, so I now feel comfortable with all of the things I was unsure of coming in and then some. The range time was excellent; instructors had good tips for shooters of all levels. I would recommend this class to anyone looking for a sufficient and informative CPL class. -JvstDom

The class was filled with imperative information for everyday life safeguarding you and your family. Mr. James was very professional, informative, and answered each question to the best of his knowledge. During range time I would say I was the most inexperienced, scared, shaking like a leaf student there but was reassured I CAN DO THIS from my instructor and fellow classmates. I now have the confidence within me to continue basic training for firearm and handgun safety to protect me and my love ones. The cpl class was will worth it. Ian the class instructor was awesome. He informed us of the laws and how to use a pistol. Class went by fast. It was about 8 hours and got to have range time. We all got fed pizza for lunch. Would recommend this class to anyone that wants training. -Crystal
